Connecting to Your Fishbowl Server–
Option 1: Fishbowl Client
- Download and install the Fishbowl Client Only software.
- Open the Fishbowl Client and enter your username, password, and server address (provided in your welcome email).
- Click “Login.”
Option 2: Remote Desktop
Recommended for slower internet connections
- Open the remote desktop shortcut (provided) or use the Microsoft Remote Desktop app.
- Enter the server address (provided in your welcome email).
- Log in using your provided credentials.
- Important: Change your password on the first login:
- Windows: Control + Alt + End
- Mac: fn + control + option + delete
- Your new password must be at least 7 characters long, contain a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters, and cannot contain more than 2 consecutive characters from your username.
Remote Desktop Tips:
- Resize the remote desktop window using the blue bar at the top.
- To disconnect without closing programs: click the “X” in the top right corner.
- To disconnect and close programs: click the Windows Start button and select “Log off.”
Note: The admin account should only be disconnected, not logged off.
